I am a contemporary artist whose work explores the profound emotional connection between humanity and the natural world. Growing up in Cornwall, I developed an enduring fascination with rugged coastlines and expansive skies, an influence that continues to shape my artistic vision. My creative journey deepened through years of climbing and walking in the Lake District and Scotland, where solitude and immersion in wild landscapes became a source of solace and renewal.

Since 2020, I have focused intensely on my practice, culminating in recent exhibitions that reflect my distinctive approach. I work intuitively and energetically, embracing the physicality of painting, layering colour and texture to evoke the rawness of the land and the unseen depths beneath its surface. My process is visceral and tactile, often involving direct engagement with materials to create works that feel alive and elemental.

Through my paintings, I invite viewers into a space of quiet contemplation, encouraging reflection on the restorative power of nature and the possibility of finding calm amid life’s turbulence. My work seeks to open a dialogue about resilience, stillness, and the profound sense of sanctuary that the landscape offers.

​My work is defined by bold textures, vibrant colours and an unpolished, raw energy- art that reflects the 'salt of the earth'.​ Today, I live and work in Norwich, Norfolk in England, UK.
